Birthdays & Babies

Rigo and I had our first meeting with our doctor yesterday and we were suppose to get to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Well I had a feeling the kid was going to be difficult and be a no show (this one is going to be trouble) and of course I was right....no heart beat :( But then the doctor was like "well would you have time to do a sonogram today?" UM ok lady are you SERIOUS?! Hell yeah we do!!! Soooo we got to see our big headed baby :) The sonogram measured the baby at only 8 weeks instead of 10 weeks. My due date got pushed back to Sept 28th and I got jipped out of 2 weeks! Isn't that some nonsense?! But the baby is REALLY in there!!! We got to see the heartbeat which is even better. Is was also neat that yesterday was our "5 month wedding anniversary" (if there is such a thing)

Also, Rigo turned 21 on Wednesday. We didn't do anything too exciting. We out to eat and Rigo got to order a drink with his ID instead of me ordering it for him :P Yesterday we went out to Heroes with Mario and Angelica and they all had a few drinks. The pregnant fat girl had a Pepsi (which personally is better than any Beer to me since I had to cut my caffeine intake down!)

They also have a machine there that checks the alcohol in your system before you leave. Rigo decided to see what his alcohol level was just for the heck of it. He did it twice (after 4-5 drinks) and it said NO alcohol was detected. His cousin had 3 beers and it told him not to drive! How that works out I have no idea but the fat pregnant girl was the one that had to drive home.

Familia

Ok back again (hey got nothing better to do, I'm pregnant how much fun can I have?!)

For those of you who don't know I have a brother (yep the same one that made my mom puke non-stop) named Seth Gonzalez. So the man changes email addresses/websites like he changes socks and told us a few days ago he got his own domain. I thought he meant he got his own website so I decided to google "Seth Gonzalez" and what did I find?

"SETH GONZALEZ GETS 3 LIFE SENTENCES WITH NO PAROLE: SETH HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO 3 LIFE SENTENCES FOR STABBING HIS PARENTS AND SISTER"

I'm considering looking into this deeper to see if some psychic (Miss Cleo?!) predicted this?!

Moving on, my dad is 68 and way over due for a hearing aid (he claims he doesn't need one and that my mom and I just "whisper" too much) Anyways if this happens to you please go to the nearest Miracle Ear store and buy the latest model.....

My dad was in the living room watching tv when he said:

"hey you forgot that extenstion cord" (or something like that) to my mom. (a few minutes pass)
"what?!" (a few more minutes pass)
"huh?"

Then he turns around and realizes no one was talking to him and that my mom was in the back room the whole time. *sigh*

Hello again!

Here I am again.... what some eight years later? I decided against the blog after I started it but then we found out last month we are expecting a baby so I thought why the heck not start one again? It will be nice to look back on how miserable I am and also read about others going thru my "ordeal." Plus I read Jenn's blog all the time and my one goal in life is to be that funny. Hehehe.

So this coming Monday I will be 10 weeks pregnant. Surprisingly that first month flew by. I am happy to report I have not puked once! My mom said she puked non-stop with my brother Seth but only twice with me (thats why I'm her favorite big brother! haha) I haven't even FELT like I was going to throw up (knock on wood!) I just feel like I ate something really acidic most of the time, which is bareable. Then my sister-in-law tells me her morning sickness didn't kick in until she was 6 months pregnant. (uh wtf?!) I will seriously hurt someone if that happens to me. I will be an oinker by then in the KANSAS SUMMER HEAT, I will not accept puking at that time as well!

As you can see from my previous post some three centuries ago, we were thinking of moving in with Rigo's parents. That didn't happen. We both moved home. I live there "part-time" Now I must say I have been blessed with some pretty great in-laws (minus that one INCIDENT below) and I am thankful because I know not everyone can say that but I thought it wise that we didn't all live together because I'm sure after some time had passed we wouldn't think so highly of one another. So we are saving money by staying home for now and are moving out yet again in a few months. Also, I am unemployed at the moment (its a hobby I have at times) I have two interviews next week so wish me luck. Both involve working weekends (boooo! isn't that illegal?! This is American damnit)

Anywho, yesterday was Valentine's Day. I told Rigo not to buy me roses since they are always $500 per petal in February and because we are "saving money for the baby" So I got a dozen white & red roses yesterday! (yay!) and yet another teddy bear to add to my collection of 87,548 bears (and one gorilla!) Rigo has given me. I'm sure the baby will think all those bears (and one gorilla!) are his siblings for the first year of his life since they will all be in the nursey.

I can hear the food processor going off in the kitchen (food?!!?! yessssss!) Mom is making tacos. I can already hear Rigo "You need to eat HEALTHY" But hey if the baby wants Tacos what can you do?! Well me and my "prescription dog food only" cocker spaniel Max are sharing a taco so good night!
